Last updated on Tuesday, February 10, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Officials confirm one of the Indianapolis bus drivers involved in a fatal accident failed a drug test and was fired by another school district in the past.

Ten-year-old Christopher Beltz was killed outside Spring Mill Elementary School when he was allowed to get off the bus between parked cars and then darted into the path of an oncoming bus.

44-year-old Ingeborg Willis was behind the wheel of the bus that dropped off the boy in the middle of the school parking lot. Willis was terminated from Lawrence Township in November of 1997.
