Kokomo Biodiesel Plant Open, Now Recycling Local Cooking Oil

(KOKOMO) - The city of Kokomo has started producing its own biodiesel fuel.

It reportedly cost $60,000 dollars to create the plant, using cooking oil from 12 local kitchens to make 55 gallons of high-grade biofuel a day.

The new plant opened on Wednesday.
