IMPD Officer Accused Of Abusing Daughter

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department patrolman is formally charged with strangulation and two counts of battery in an incident last week involving his 11-year-old daughter.
IMPD suspended 35-year-old Andrew Dodds without pay pending termination after his arrest last week.
Dodds is accused of dragging his daughter down the hallway by the feet, then shoving her against a wall and holding her by the neck.
