Former Colts Coach Happy To Live In Indiana

Last updated on Saturday, February 21, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Although Tony Dungy is no longer the head coach for the colts, the Tampa resident still considers Indiana home.

Dungy is promoting his book, "Uncommon: Finding Your Path To Significance", this weekend in Plainfield.

He plans to sign copies at the Family Christian Store Saturday afternoon between 3:30 and 5:30.

Dungy says he authored his second book with children and educators in mind.

He encourages readers to follow their own path, choosing to make their own decisions.

Dungy says his new path involves working with children and older members of the community.

He is currently working with Indianapolis mayor Greg Ballard to help former criminals reenter society by finding jobs.

The former colts coach is also partnering with I-P-S superintendent Dr. Eugene White to promote the importance of academics.
