Former Ball State Employee Faces Child Exploitation Charges

(NOBLESVILLE) - An ex-Ball State University employee faces up to eight years in prison after being convicted of trying to solicit sex from a minor on the internet.

56-year-old Richard Turgeon was a senior information analyst for the BSU office of the controller and business services when he was arrested in September of 2006. He resigned from his university job three days later.

Sentencing for Turgeon is set for May 15.
