(UNDATED) - Vectren has pushed back to Wednesday its estimate of when power will be fully restored following this week's snow and ice storm.
More than 80-thousand Hoosier are still blacked out.
The Evansville area took the brunt of the storm, more than 60-percent of Evansville residents are Vectren customers, with seven other power companies across southern Indiana affected as well.
More than 300 people are still in temporary shelters in Evansville while they await the restoration of electricity.
100 more are in shelters in neighboring Warrick County.
Homeland Security spokesman Rachel Meyer says the storm brought down 54-hundred power lines across Indiana.
Vectren has called in reinforcements from Indiana and Michigan to help with repairs.
Vanderburgh and Gibson counties are among five where local emergency declarations limiting who can go on the roads are still in effect.
33 more counties have issued some level of travel advisory.
