(CARMEL) - The investigation into the death of a Carmel High School freshman has been expanded.
Carmel police now say its possible 15-year-old Ziang Ke was hit by a vehicle last Wednesday. An autopsy found he died from one of his ribs puncturing his liver.
Investigators initially thought he fell attempting to catch a bus, but the Hamilton County coroner says injuries of that nature are not common in a fall.
