(ELKHART) - Hazardous driving conditions were blamed for a fatal crash in southern Elkhart County Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say 24-year-old Sarah Dressler of Ohio lost control of her car on snowy state road 15 near New Paris, crossing the centerline and slamming into a semi truck.

She died at the scene.

The truck driver, 53-year-old Stephen Stickel of Napanee, was not injured in the crash.
