(DELPHI) - A Carroll County man will spend the next 20 years in prison for intentionally setting a handcrafted replica of a 19th century canal boat on fire.

62-year-old Larry Farner of Delphi set fire to the popular attraction last labor day weekend at Delphi's Canal Park.

Farner chose not to speak during Friday's hearing.

His attorney says Farner still denies any involvement in the boat fire.

He plans to appeal his conviction.
