(UNDATED) - Central Indiana is down about eight inches from the average amount of snow we receive from year to year. But the storm moving in could change all that.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Steve Haines says areas from Lafayette to Muncie and south could receive between four to six inches of snow by noon on Wednesday afternoon.
Southern Indiana was blanketed with between four and five inches of snow when the first round of the storm moved through.
Forecasters are pretty certain the snow is coming because all the computer models used to predict the weather indicate the same storm track. However, the National Weather Service cautions there are still variables. If the storm tracks ten or 15 miles one way or another, it will change snowfall amounts along its path.
