(MONTICELLO) - Twin Lakes High School in Monticello is mourning the loss of another student.
16-year-old Taylor Maffett died Sunday from injuries she suffered after her car hit a tree and utility pole.
Maffett was the sixth Twin Lakes School Corporation student killed this semester in a vehicle-related accident.
Students and staff at the high school observed a moment of silence Monday morning to remember Maffett.
