(UNDATED) - State police are warning hunters and others to watch out for dangerous meth lab trash.

The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section is reminding Hoosiers that this trash may contain toxic, flammable, corrosive and acidic chemicals. The combination of chemicals can cause an explosion or fire.

Some items include gas cans, battery casings and other plastic or glass containers.

They add to be aware of any type of cylinder found in an odd place like a ditch line or the middle of a field because that container could have held anhydrous ammonia.

If you come across this type of trash, do not handle it yourself, just call the police.
