(LAWRENCE) - Lawrence police are investigating a homicide at the Salem Courthouse Apartments in Lawrence.
Officers responded to reports of a person shot and found 20 year old Aaron Lamere inside an apartment at the complex. Investigators say he was shot at least once.
Police believe someone may have knocked on the door and when he went to answer it, Lamere was shot through the door.
