(UNDATED) - Hoosiers are paying an average of $1.69 for a gallon for regular unleaded gasoline according to the weekly AAA Gas Gauge report.
That compares with $2.19 a month ago and $2.99 last year at this time. The motor club says prices reflect an on-going pessimism about the health of the global economy.
There is also a glut of oil available on world markets and OPEC seems powerless to do much about it.
