Giant Organic Milk Donation Made To Gleaner's Food Bank

(UNDATED) - From under the microscopes at Purdue, to the shelves of Gleaners Food Bank...the process is a bit more complicated then that, but that's the lowdown on two semi loads of organic milk donated to Gleaners Food Bank from Favored of West Lafayette.

Gleaner's Pam Altmeyer says it's the first time they've had organic milk at the food bank, but what is even rarer is a milk donation of this size, 2,200 cases with a shelf life that doesn't spoil until well after you open it.

What extends the shelf life of the milk is how it is engineered.
