Colts Players Extend Hand To Homeless Shelter

Last updated on Wednesday, November 26, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Fresh from a last-second victory over San Diego, four Indianapolis Colts spent part of their off day serving lunch.

Linebackers Tyjuan Hagler and Freddy Keiaho, center Steve Justice, and defensive back Melvin Bullitt delivered trays of pork chops, spaghetti and green beans to about 120 men at the Wheeler Mission Homeless Shelter in Downtown Indianapolis. Mascot Blue cleared tables afterward.

The Colts brought with them a $5,000 dollar donation to the Mission, and a couple of dozen winter hats and coats.
