State Gets $67M More For Storm Recovery

Last updated on Tuesday, October 28, 2008

(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Mitch Daniels says Indiana will receive an additional $57 million from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for disaster assistance.

The funds bring the state's total to $67 million for long-term recovery efforts from last summer's severe storms and flooding.

It's intended to help communities reduce their local matching funds on FEMA grants.
