(INDIANAPOLIS) - Fall is here, which means colder weather and the state is trying to help keep some Hoosiers warm in their homes.
Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman visited the Indianapolis home of Ruby Edwards to announce how Hoosiers can get their homes winterized. Hoosiers at, or under, 150 percent of the poverty level are eligible for the state's winterization program.
Ruby received insulation, a new gas furnace and a water heater to help keep her home more energy efficient.
Skillman says those eligible can visit their county's community action agency for more information.
