(UNDATED) - An Indianapolis double murderer who broke out of the state prison in Rockville two months ago has been added to the U.S. Marshals Service 15 most wanted list.
Sarah Pender was eight years into a 110-year sentence for the shotgun killings of her roommates when she escaped August 4 by hiding in a prison van.
Marshals and state police declare they're closing the net around Pender, but they say the $25,000 dollar reward which accompanies a "most wanted" designation may prompt her accomplices on the outside to turn her in.
State Police Sergeant Ryan Harmon says authorities are confident Pender hasn't made it out of Indiana, with the exception of brief forays into Ohio and Michigan. He says he believes authorities have been able to limit her movements by choking off her ability to get money.
Pender's getaway driver has been sentenced to seven years in prison, and a prison guard who allegedly helped her escape is awaiting trial.
Harmon says Pender was dropped off at the Irvington Plaza Strip Mall on Indy's eastside, where she hooked up with two ex-convicts for further assistance.
Investigators have talked to at least one woman alleged to have helped Pender, but no charges have been filed.
Pender has been profiled twice on FOX's "America's Most Wanted" since her prison break. She is the only woman on the marshals' most wanted list.
