(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard will announce plans today for the first green roof to be constructed on a city-owned building.
The Indianapolis Department of Public Works will install the roof on a new portion of a wastewater storage and treatment facility on the city's north side.
The facility is designed to reduce and treat raw sewage overflows into the White River.
