(INDIANAPOLIS) - The coroner’s report says 52-year-old David Meyers died from strangulation after he broke into a Indianapolis home early Sunday and attempted to rape a teenage girl.
The convicted sex offender was restrained by the girl's father, 64-year-old Robert McNally, who kept him in a choke-hold until police arrived.
Meyers died at the scene.
