(ELKHART) - Elkhart police have arrested 26-year-old Jarrell King of Elkhart on a preliminary charge of murder in the death of Theodore Woodward yesterday.
Police say the 65 year-old Woodward died after trying to stop King and an unidentified man from stealing scrap metal from his pole barn.
As the two men drove off, he held onto their pickup and was dragged about 200 feet before falling and being run over by the truck.
