Man Gets 10 Years For Defrauding State

(UNDATED) - A ten year prison sentence has been handed to a man convicted of defrauding state and federal health care programs to the tune of more than $3 million dollars.

43-year-old Varnador Sutton of Atlanta, Georgia--formerly a resident of Indianapolis--was tried early this year in federal court.

Indiana Medicaid gets partial reimbursement from the forfeiture of more than $2 million dollars in assets, including five parcels of real estate and three luxury automobiles.
