(ROCKPORT) - A send-off ceremony is planned today for Lincoln’s Journey of Remembrance.
It's a recreation of Abraham Lincoln's flatboat trip from Rockport, Indiana to New Orleans.
The public is invited to attend starting at 11am on the Ohio River bluff in Rockport.
The flatboat will stop in English Park in Owensboro, Kentucky, at 2pm, with Indiana first lady Cheri Daniels aboard.
