(MUNCIE) - Indianapolis-based Clarian Health and Cardinal Health System of Muncie have entered into a letter of intent to merge by the end of the year.
Under the deal, Clarian would operate CHS and its affiliated hospitals, Ball Memorial and Blackford Community.
In return Clarian will pay $25 million dollars to the BMH Foundation, bringing the foundation to approximately $75 million in assets.
