(INDIANAPOLIS) - The head of Indiana tourism says higher gas prices are starting to have an effect on the industry.
Indiana Office of Tourism Director Amy Vaughn says tourists have reached a tipping point at four dollars a gallon for gas, choosing to forgo vacations to save money.
Still, Vaughn says Indiana tourism is holding its own with Hoosiers taking trips and spending money in their own state.
