(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 7-year-old boy was shot Wednesday on the east side of Indianapolis.
The victim was in the back of a van with other youngsters who were returning from football practice. They passed another vehicle when a shot was fired, striking the van and wounding the boy in the shoulder.
He was reported in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
