(GARY) - The man accused of a 1984 killing in Lake County is in Indiana custody.
Steven Erler was flown from Sacramento, California to Lake County last night. He is accused of stabbing Linda Lee Benitt to death.
Charges were filed two months ago after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.
