(INDIANAPOLIS) - Contractors are confident they've solved the water leakage problem at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Several feet of water seeped into the stadium during heavy rains earlier this month damaging several areas, especially the data center.

Hunt Construction Contract Manager Bob may told the Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority Monday that every joint in the drainage system has been reinforced and braced.

New communications equipment has replaced what was damaged in the data room and is up and running. May says the turf is in and the goal posts are up and it looks like it's ready for the Colts to play football.

A ribbon- cutting ceremony and public tour of the stadium will be held on August 16th. There will be some high school football games and Colts pre-season games in late August.

The Colts' first regular season home game at the stadium will be on September 7 when they host the Chicago Bears.
