Last updated on Thursday, July 10, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Taxes paid by Indiana’s casinos are down for the first time in more than a decade.

Tax revenues from the state's 11 casinos and two new slot machine facilities at race tracks totaled $465 million in the first six months of the year.

That's compared to nearly $489 million for the same period in 2007.
