(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville mother accused of beating her 3-year-old son to death will likely face trial in late February before a Clark County jury.
Defense attorneys requested a change of venue Wednesday.
Amanda Brooks Lay and her husband, Terry Lay, are in the Vanderburgh County Jail awaiting trial for Kalab Lay's alleged beating death. They also are accused of abusing his twin sister.
