Last updated on Monday, July 28, 2008

(LEBANON) - Boone County authorities believe alcohol was involved in a crash on I-65 outside of Lebanon that killed a Hammond man.

Police say 41-year-old Robert Westfall, Jr. was trying to pass a semi on the highway when he clipped the front bumper and spun out of control and rolled several times. Westfall's wife suffered minor injuries.

Police say the couple appeared to be traveling home from the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis Sunday.
