Man Identified Following Police Shooting

(SOUTH BEND) - The identity of the man fatally shot by officers after a bank robbery has been identified as 29-year-old Brian Szuflita of Laporte.

South Bend Police say two officers shot Szuflita several times after he pulled a knife on them.

An autopsy was being conducted Monday. The shooting is still being investigated.
