Father, Son, Girlfriend Face Robbery And Murder Charges

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi filed charges against Brian Reese, his father Paul Reese and Brian’s girlfriend Lona Bishop for the robbery and murder of Clifford Haddix on July 6th.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Brian Reese entered Clifford Haddix's home and stole several items while Paul Reese and Lona Bishop waited outside. Sometime during the robbery, Brian Reese encountered Clifford Haddix and shot him three times.

Brian Reese is charged with murder, felony robbery, burglary and carrying a handgun without a license. Paul Reese is charged with felony murder, robbery and burglary. Lona Bishop is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

If convicted, Brian Reese faces 113 years in prison, his father, Paul, could get up to 85 years and Lona Bishop somewhere between 20 and 50 years.

Brian Reese was later arrested for the shooting of officer Jason Fishburn. His mother, Barbara Reese, is also facing charges leading up to the shooting of officer Fishburn since she was driving the van when Brian Reese was caught eluding arrest last Thursday.
