(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service has determined the tornado that damaged much of the Rush County town of Moscow Tuesday night was an F-3 with winds exceeding 150 miles per hour.
Officials say the funnel cloud began as an F-0 near the town of Waldron in Shelby County and intensified as it moved east.
The tornado lifted just east of Moscow.
