(TERRE HAUTE) - A 72-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court next month on charges of sexual misconduct.
John Beaty appeared before a Vigo County judge Wednesday. Beaty tells police he met the boy two times in an abandoned house in Terre Haute, where the two would perform oral sex on each other.
Beaty is a retired agriculture teacher and former principal at Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Illinois.
