(INDIANAPOLIS) - One of "Oprah's Angels" made a stop in Indianapolis to talk about the hunger crisis in America.

Robert egger runs the D.C. Central Kitchen in Washington D.C., serving thousands of meals a day.

Egger says the non-profit sector in Central Indiana is doing "very well" and he is impressed with IndyGo's commitment to business and getting seniors to jobs.

Egger says Indiana needs an oversight body for all of the non-profits to steer everyone in the same direction.

Egger says it's not a question of whether to feed seniors or children -- many people are hungry. Egger spoke at a conference addressing feeding senior citizens.

Egger has some Hoosier roots - some of his family lives in Corydon.
