Indianapolis Ice Hockey Players Caught Stealing

Last updated on Saturday, April 5, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two Indiana Ice players were arrested Thursday, both charged with felony theft.

Indianapolis Metro Police arrested 19-year-olds Timothy Syner of Springfield, Massachusetts and Gregory Squires of White Plains, New York.

Police say the two stole expensive clothing from Castleton Square Mall. Syner allegedly picked up a pair of $95 Burberry shorts, and Squires - a $190 pair of Diesel jeans.

Security officers say the teens probably didn't realize they had them on camera when they went into the dressing room and allegedly slipped on the clothing.
