Last updated on Thursday, April 10, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A fired ATA Airlines office worker is asking a federal bankruptcy judge to order the company to provide 60 days worth of pay and benefits for all idled employees.

Kevin batman claims workers were not given adequate warning of a layoff as required by federal law.

The Indianapolis based company closed Friday and dismissed almost all its 2,300 workers worldwide, and filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
