(WHITING) - Before students are allowed to enter the Whiting High School prom on Friday, they'll have to pass a breathalyzer test to see if they have been drinking.
School board attorney Joseph Curosh says prom tickets warn the students about the breath tests, and those who have been drinking will be turned over to their parents.
Whiting school board members voted unanimously last night to authorize the breath tests at a number of school functions
