(AUBURN) - Dekalb County Sheriff John Dennis is asking for an outside investigation into his officers’ failure to discover a car wreck in which the driver was found dead a day later.
66-year-old Duane Squires of Avilla died after his car left a rural road near Garrett on February 18th and traveled into a field.
Squire's 14-year-old autistic grandson was found alive in the car.
