(MUNCIE) - A Muncie man was treated and released at a local hospital after waking up in the back of a trash truck.
William Bowen woke up Thursday morning lucky to be alive. He'd been out drinking with buddies. But.. what happened after that is a mystery - even to Bowen.
The trash truck driver says he wasn't sure where he picked Bowen up. But, he was about to push the lever to the trash compressor when he heard someone screaming from inside the truck.
The trash compressor could have caused serious injury or death.
