INDOT Addresses Potholes Despite Colder Temps

Last updated on Friday, March 7, 2008

(UNDATED) - We’ve all driven over them - massive potholes all over the state, thanks to weeks of freezing and thawing.

Plenty of folks have also lost tires and underside parts from driving over these.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is working to try and keep up with the craters, but it's hard right now because of the cold.

Debbie Calder with INDOT says people can call a toll-free number and request a tort claim form for damages caused by potholes. It only applies to state roads, us routes, and interstates. The toll-free number is 1-866-849-1DOT.
