Evansville School Locked Down, Suspicious Vistor On Grounds

(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville high school was locked down after a man with a gun was spotted on its grounds.

Police say no shots were fired Thursday at Reitz High School and no one was injured.

Corporal Steve Green says officers had a man in custody and were searching for a weapon. The person's identity was not immediately released.

Police Chief Brad Hill says the man had not been inside the school.
