(FORT WAYNE) - A review panel is upholding the firing of an Allen County employee for accepting cookies instead of $5 cash for copies of a divorce decree.
Luke Starnes appealed the decision of Clerk Therese Brown to fire him and a co-worker in December after an internal investigation showed they accepted the cookies from a bakery owner as payment for the photocopies.
