Attorney General Establishes ID Theft Unit

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana attorney general has established a unit to investigate identity theft.

The unit consists of a team of attorneys and investigators looking into the fraud and helping prosecutors. There were 328 security breaches nationwide last year, and at least 23 occurred in Indiana.

Michelle Sybsema of Indianapolis is an id theft victim and she is also working with the unit to educate people through her website, getidsmart.com.
