(UNDATED) - With news of the Kokomo swim coach arrested and fired for admittedly video taping members of the girls swim team in the locker room, a mental health expert says parents of those involved really need to keep the lines of communication open.

Beth Carnes with Mental Health America says the students should be encouraged to talk openly. She says parents need to look for signs that their child is not handling the situation. A change in behavior, sleeping too much, and refusal to acknowledge the incident are all signs that suggest expert help is needed.

Coach Brian Hindson was arrested this week on child porn charges.

In addition to coaching Kokomo students, he coached swimmers at Indianapolis area schools.
