(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two more men are in trouble for allegedly trying to solicit sex from teens over the internet.
One is a Marion County public defender. Indianapolis Metro Police arrested 29-year-old Ryan Snyder and 24-year-old Michael Forsyth. Snyder received his law license in 2005.
Snyder is accused of attempting to meet a girl he thought was 15 for sex and sending a pornographic picture.
Lieutenant Jeff Duhamell says it is "deeply disturbing" that someone who practices law for a living would even attempt to solicit a teen for sex.
Duhamell says investigators found a small amount of pot at Snyder's house as well.
Michael Forsyth is also accused of hitting a police officer with his car as he tried to flee from officers Sunday. Detective Tiffany Woods suffered minor injuries.
Duhamell says shows like "Dateline: To Catch A Predator" have made parents more aware of what's happening when their kids go on the internet. Duhamell says they, along with the Marion County prosecutor's office, are continuing their online child solicitation investigations.
