(PENDLETON) - The Pendleton Correctional Facility remained on lockdown this weekend after inmates briefly took over one of the maximum security prison’s housing units.
The staff is still trying to determine which inmates were involved in the takeover of the unit, which houses 50 inmates. That takeover lasted about two hours before order was restored.
Two inmates suffered minor injuries but no prison staff were injured.
