(LOGANSPORT) - Hundreds packed a Logansport church Friday to pay respects to State Trooper Daniel Barrett, who died in the line of duty after crashing his police cruiser last Sunday night.
Trooper Kent Wainscott was one of the first-year officer's roommates at the training academy. He remembers him as someone always ready to help another cadet, and someone who had always dreamed of becoming a state trooper.
